چکیده

In this paper, a novel microstructure photonic crystal fiber (MC-PCF)-surface plasmon resonance sensor is presented and developed using the finite element method with perfectly matched layer boundary condition. The performance in terms of wavelength sensitivity (WS), amplitude (AS), figure merit (FoM) quantitatively examined an external sensing technique optimal thickness 40 nm chemically stable gold. Finer mesh analysis also used for modal analysis. At optimized gold thickness, highest recorded WS 92,000 per RIU AS 1080 at detecting range 1.33–1.38 are obtained. Within range, has strong linear fit FoM 348.15 RIU, respectively. Because its high FoM, suggested might be viable competitor analyte refractive index. Finally, to demonstrate capability our proposed sensor, all parameters were compared previously published studies.

Plasmonic Sensor Based on Dielectric Nanoprisms

A periodic array of extruded nanoprisms is proposed to generate surface plasmon resonances for sensing applications. Nanoprisms guide and funnel light towards the metal-dielectric interface where the dielectric acts as the medium under test. The system works under normal incidence conditions and is spectrally interrogated. The performance is better than the classical Kretschmann configurations,...

Detecting Active Bot Networks Based on DNS Traffic Analysis

Abstract—One of the serious threats to cyberspace is the Bot networks or Botnets. Bots are malicious software that acts as a network and allows hackers to remotely manage and control infected computer victims. Given the fact that DNS is one of the most common protocols in the network and is essential for the proper functioning of the network, it is very useful for monitoring, detecting and redu...

Detecting Bot Networks Based On HTTP And TLS Traffic Analysis

Abstract— Bot networks are a serious threat to cyber security, whose destructive behavior affects network performance directly. Detecting of infected HTTP communications is a big challenge because infected HTTP connections are clearly merged with other types of HTTP traffic. Cybercriminals prefer to use the web as a communication environment to launch application layer attacks and secretly enga...

Hollow Core Photonic Crystal Fibre (HC-PCF) based Gas Sensor

We report the feasible design of the gas sensor based on Hollow-Core Photonic Crystal Fibers (HC-PCF) operating in the mid-IR. Hollow core photonic band gap fibres (HC-PBFs) are employed as gas cells due to their compactness, good integrability in optical systems and feasibility of long interaction lengths with gases. The challenge is in development and assembly of HC-PCF based gas cell where i...
